Key Account Manager - ANZ Market

Publisher Account Management, Australia

Taboola is looking for a dedicated, Key Account Manager to develop and grow our strategic clients’ businesses, strengthen client relationships, and serve as a source of valuable insight to their clients. The ANZ market is a key market to secure Taboola's growth and hence of central focus to the business. As such this role is geared towards experienced Account Managers who have a passion for great client service, and project management.
 
Responsibilities and skills:

  • Manage and grow relationships with premium publisher clients and strategic partners
  • Project manage complex strategic partnerships that involve the development of new features and products
  • Advise enterprise clients in choosing and delivering a suitable solution for their needs
  • Internal and external education of Taboola’s products through articulate communication
  • Understand the organisation’s business needs and develop relationships at all levels
  • Monitor and analyse metrics and proactively take steps to improve results
  • Be an expert in Taboola’s platform and the benefits publishers gain by using it
  • Fully comprehend the technology, revenue ecosystem and client needs/requirements in order to intelligently identify new opportunities and upsell the platform
  • Work closely with the Publisher Sales teams as well as the remote R&D department in order to become a valuable resource and single point of contact to the client
  • Communicate business intelligence from clients to the product management team in regards to new product development features
  • Strategically support the Publisher Sales team in pre-sale proposal development

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of Experience as an Account Manager / Project Management position in digital
  • Proven results in a customer-facing role - specific examples will be expected
  • Excellent technological skills and ability to quickly learn what is needed to support the campaigns successful implementation and optimisation
  • Entrepreneurial mindset where client focused proactivity and hunger for success will be encouraged and rewarded
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and in generated reports
  • Outstanding relationship management and customer-facing skills
  • A true passion for online content and in-depth knowledge of web marketing
  • Fluency in English
  • Willing to travel for business, approx. 2-3 times per quarter
  • Readiness to work unconventional hours occasionally with remote teams located in various time zones
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills including demonstrated experience communicating technical information

Media Sales Manager - ANZ Market

We are looking for a high performing and driven Media Sales Manager to grow Taboola’s content supply. The Media Sales Manager in ANZ will be expected to identify, engage and cement partnerships in order to expand and diversify offered content. The candidate should be a strong, deal-oriented professional who can source, prospect and structure content marketing deals independently.

Responsibilities and skills: 

  • Understanding of digital technology & revenue ecosystem and explain product benefits within this context.
  • Well connected with Australian media agencies and advertisers.
  • Sell multiple products to clients by finding the right stakeholders for each product, without digressing from a coherent product message and overall strategy.
  • Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked.
  • Work closely with ANZ country manager and the ANZ media sales team to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Interact with the ANZ media Account Management team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign management.
  • Convey field intelligence to product management teams in regard to development features.
  • Independently build a large pipeline of leads, pursue them and close deals.
  • Manage presentations, build relationships and negotiate contracts within the Australian Market.

 Requirements: 

  • 4 years in a media sales position, marketing technology, ad technology sectors, preferably at a digital media company, working with Australian clients.
  • Significant experience in structuring and negotiating deals, such experience within the digital media space in Australia– a great advantage.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • A true passion for online content, and a strong sales drive with an ability to build strategic partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and in generated reports.
  • Excellent technological skills and ability to quickly learn what is needed to support the campaigns successful implementation and optimisation.

  • Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked
  • Independently build a large pipeline of leads, pursue them and close deals
  • Manage presentations, build relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Interact with our project implementation team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful implementation of our widgets and technology
  • Work closely with the account management team to manage and develop long-term client relationships
  • Proactively seek market feedback on the Taboola platform and work with product team to help develop market-leading functionality

Requirements:

  • 4 years experience in digital publisher sales or digital media sales 
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills 
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of the ANZ digital publishing landscape, an understanding of digital technology and revenue ecosystem
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Experience structuring and negotiating deals with ANZ digital publishers or media companies
  • Proven communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Technology-savvy and able to learn quickly
  • The will and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
