Taboola, the world’s largest content recommendation platform, is hiring an Accounting Associate. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Associate will be responsible for maintaining the Company’s books and records in an orderly and timely manner ensuring that all internal and external deadlines are met.
In this job you will: 

  • Perform, prepare and/or maintain journal entries related to prepaid assets, fixed assets, general ledger account analyses and reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, accruals, etc.
  • Cash management- Wires, ACH’s, checks and all disbursements, funding bank accounts
  • Accounts Receivable- Manage collections, credit limits; monitor customer aging and possible write-offs
  • Expense Reports- Review, Record, track and maintain monthly expense reports for US employees
  • Vendor Management- Coding all invoices from a GL perspective, manage PO’s, payables, credit card transactions, W9s, 1099s,
  • Assist outside accounting firms with annual filings (payroll, sales tax, corp tax estimates)
  • Review and help process bi-weekly payroll
  • Maintain various accounting records and documentation and assist in the preparation of financial statement information and supporting schedules for the Company’s year-end audit
  • Work on ad-hoc assignments and special projects

About you: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management or related business field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounting
  • GAAP & General Ledger familiarity
  • Strong written/oral communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated, highly detailed and organized
  • Must have advanced Excel skills
  • Netsuite experience a plus
  • Strong time management skills and ability to adhere to tight deadlines
  • Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment, multitask, set own priorities and adapt to a changing environment

Duties and responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships with agencies and top tier brand advertisers in assigned territory by gaining insight into their business, and providing the appropriate solution to achieve their marketing goals

Experience:

In this job you will:

  • Act as a single point of contact for all training initiatives and programs in the Sales function; collaborate with other functions to coordinate company-wide training projects.
  • Drive annual training needs analysis, integrate and prioritize execution plan to best support the achievement of business goals; measure effectiveness and ROI of training investment.
  • Manage Sales Enablement Associates to facilitate content creation, logistics, and on-site training programs.
  • Formalize a regional Subject Matter Expert program to provide content and local context for global training materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with sales leaders in order to identify knowledge gaps and quantitatively measure effectiveness of training programs; Partner with other stakeholders to deliver a Sales Onboarding Program and a Continuous Education Program.
  • Develop best practices for content creation and establish infrastructure for curating content and ensuring freshness.
  • Implement recurring certification programs to ensure ongoing accountability and skills-development for global sales teams.
  • Facilitate skills-based training programs on an as-needed basis; leverage internal expertise and third party services to provide focused & engaging training sessions.

About you:

  • 10+ years experience in Enablement, Learning & Development, HR, or related sales functions.
  • 3+ years experience in designing and implementing sales enablement or sales-focused training programs, preferably in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Passion for learning and education.
  • Excellent communication skills; must be comfortable building 1:1 relationships at all levels, presenting to C-Level audiences, and training large groups.
  • Nice to have: strong familiarity with Bridge or similar LMS program.
