Taboola is hiring an all-star Media Account Manager in our Mexico City office to join our LATAM Team and focus on our Strategic / Tier 1 advertisers. This person will be responsible for managing a large, dynamic book of business and developing strong relationships with our advertisers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about content, has strong client-facing experience, and is ready to hit the ground running at an exciting, growing company.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships during all post sale activities
  • Launch, monitor and optimize all campaigns on a weekly basis through dynamic and strategic thinking, problem solving and data analysis to convey optimal account positioning to meet client KPI's
  • Report on strategic insights, recommendations and new product capabilities to each client on a regular basis with a goal to upsell and seek new revenue opportunities
  • Conduct in-person quarterly business reviews with key accounts
  • Analyze book of business and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Monitor and identify trends in network data
  • Upsell to hit quarterly revenue goals

 
Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 - 5 years of online advertising experience (Digital Preferred)
  • Proven results in a customer-facing role; ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong analytical skills and and the ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • A true passion for online content and in-depth knowledge of web marketing
  • The will and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and learn, learn, learn!
  • Preference for candidates with a media agency or publisher background or both would be a plus
  • Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Must be willing to travel to a minimum of once per month

The Media Sales Associate will advocate Taboola's Discovery platform to small - medium sized companies across the country, promoting the power of our marketing platform and audience intelligence. Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by consistently developing, closing and scaling a pipeline of successful advertiser accounts – across brand, agency and publisher media-buyers alike
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients through phone, email, social media, in-person meetings and professional networking events
  • Act an an internal advocate for clients, as needed, to make sure Taboola is providing a best-in-class level of service for its partners
  • Learn and evangelize successful advertising strategies, both creative and technical, across a range of industries and types of businesses
  • Position and sell innovative solutions, and return client/market-driven insights to Product and other internal teams at Taboola
  • Master ability to balance time invested toward low- and high-spend potential accounts
  • Generate scalable, high quality leads and manage the lead generation process
  • Identify decision makers and research prospect’s contact information
  • Work closely with sales managers on various projects that are in support of the entire sales team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) from a top-ranked college or university
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales and/or sales development (digital advertising industry experience preferred, but not required)
  • Passionate about advertising, media and technology
  • Acute business acumen, and an ability to present and communicate ideas/concepts effectively
  • Strong levels of emotional intelligence, professionalism and persistence
  • Prior experience with Salesforce (or another CRM system) and related productivity tools
  • Professional English language proficiency

The Publisher Account Manager will largely focus on optimizing existing relationships by up-selling new initiatives to publishers and improving the metrics on their site.
Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Manage and grow relationships with premium publisher clients and strategic partners
  • Understand the company's strategic objectives and map Taboola platform capabilities to the needs of the organization
  • Develop relationships at all levels across the organization
  • Understand client Strategic Objectives & KPIs in order to be able to intelligently identify opportunities and effectively up-sell and grow the partnership
  • Monitor and analyze metrics and proactively take initiative to improve results
  • Understand Taboola's platform capabilities and the value proposition to the Publisher based on the specific capability and user role.
  • Become a trusted advisor and single point of contact to the client
  • Work closely with internal Taboola teams as the liaison for all business and technical issues and opportunities
  • Be a field advocate and communicate / advocate client needs to the Product Management team.
  • Manage the preparation and presentation of performance reports and market insights to partners to further support growth opportunities and recommendations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with Taboola platform and services.
  • Up to 25% travel will be required.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS required
  • A minimum of 3 years of client-facing experience in the digital media/online publisher space
  • A solid understanding of web technologies and the digital media revenue ecosystem, including web advertising measurements and analytics
  • Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills to go above and beyond for your clients.
  • Very strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by monitoring/identifying trends with data
  • Highly motivated, proactive, dedicated and creative in order to pull all necessary resources for the client
  • High attention to detail, organized with strong communication skills
  • Experience with CRM software and MS Excel (or Google Sheets)

Key Responsibilities

  • Focusing on top-tier publishers, independently build a large pipeline of leads, pursue them, and close deals.
  • Sell multiple Taboola products to clients by finding the right stakeholders for each product, without digressing from a coherent product message and overall strategy.
  • Manage a robust pipeline, accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked.
  • Manage presentations, build relationships and negotiate contracts.

Requirements

  • Impeccable sales record, with a history of building your own book of business and hitting sales quotas.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in structuring and negotiating deals with digital publishers or deals where an online component and revenue are central.
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and in generated reports.
  • Technology-savvy and able to quickly learn what is needed to support the campaign’s successful implementation and optimization.
  • The will and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and learn, learn, learn!
