The Position:
Taboola is hiring a Media Sales Manager to be a part of our Performance/Branding team focused on brands and agencies in Colombia and traveling to Colombia a minimum of once per month.
You are a sales person with a hunter mentality and an entrepreneurial spirit. In this role you will achieve your goals by getting your hands dirty, while having fun along the way.
Responsibilities

  • Independently build a large pipeline of leads to drive RFPs/Briefs and IOs
  • Generate high volume of sales calls, meetings, presentations and proposals to potential agencies, ATD's and advertisers
  • Build relationships with brand and performance focused agency contacts and explain the power of Taboola’s native, choice based advertising platform.
  • Work with sales planning team to build and present proposals to your pipeline of new business prospects.
  • Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked.
  • Interact with the Account Management team to effectively manage client expectations ,ensure successful campaign delivery and help set the expectation for future potential growth
  • Drive new advertising revenue through long term contracts
  • Identify new business opportunities within territory across agency roster list
  • Ability to travel to generate new business in Colombia
  • Provide feedback to the company on product offering and how to best service our advertiser's needs

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years experience selling digital media with a focus on performance/brand awareness to brands and agencies
  • Experience selling video both via managed services and programmatically.
  • Demonstrated experience consistently meeting or exceeding target goals, hunting for deals, navigating organizational hierarchies and engaging VP and C-level executives to close business
  • Experience in a lead generating / sales planning / sales position, preferably at a digital media company a huge plus
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and in generated reports
  • Understanding of performance and branding campaigns
  • Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish

Taboola is looking for a dedicated, relationship-driven Account Manager with a passion for digital media to strengthen client relationships and serve as a strategic partner and main point of contact. The Account Manager will work with premium publishers to manage the overall relationship with Taboola. The Account Manager will also help to implement and launch Taboola content recommendation widget and/or video, track post-launch performance, and provide strategic direction for new opportunities to grow revenue while also cross-selling Taboola Platform capabilities to drive customer retention.

Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Manage and grow relationships with premium publisher clients and strategic partners
  • Understand the company's strategic objectives and map Taboola platform capabilities to the needs of the organization
  • Develop relationships at all levels across the organization
  • Understand client Strategic Objectives & KPIs in order to be able to intelligently identify opportunities and effectively upsell and grow the partnership
  • Monitor and analyze metrics and proactively take initiative to improve results
  • Understand Taboola's platform capabilities and the value proposition to the Publisher based on the specific capability and user role.
  • Become a trusted advisor and single point of contact to the client
  • Work closely with internal Taboola teams as the liaison for all business and technical issues and opportunities
  • Be a field advocate and communicate / advocate client needs to the Product Management team.
  • Manage the preparation and presentation of performance reports and market insights to partners to further support growth opportunities and recommendations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with Taboola platform and services.
  • Up to 25% travel will be required.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS required
  • A minimum of 3 years of client-facing experience in the digital media /online publisher space
  • A solid understanding of web technologies and the digital media revenue ecosystem, including web advertising measurements and analytics
  • Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills to go above and beyond for your clients.
  • Very strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by monitoring/identifying trends with data
  • Highly motivated, proactive, dedicated and creative in order to pull all necessary resources for the client
  • High attention to detail, organized with strong communication skills
  • Strong team player, but still a self-starter with the will and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and learn, learn, learn!
  • Experience with CRM software and MS Excel (or Google Sheets)
