About the role
Over the past year, DACH biz group has won the friendly competition within our other EU biz groups and we've established ourselves as top biz group in our office. Many major growth opportunities are still untapped and we'd be happy for you to help us permanently defend our pole position.
You'll be joining a growing team of five account managers with a very international feel (none of us are 100% German but we're all native speakers). The DACH team is known for its strong execution of global tasks, has great relationships with our clients and has become one of the favourites of our product team to be asked to join beta tests. We have a pretty analytical approach to account management and aim to be at the forefront of best practice creation for the global account management organisation.
We have opportunities in Berlin and London.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships as a +1 with top strategic accounts
  • Understand client KPIs and help create a plan to achieve them
  • Need to be able to to prioritize and react quickly to changing client needs
  • Monitor and analyze metrics and proactively take steps to improve performance
  • Work closely with the Client Partner in order to become a valuable resource both internally and externally

About the person:
We are looking for a dedicated, data-driven Associate Account Manager with a passion for digital media to optimize revenue and serve as a valuable resource/point of contact. You will work with top strategic accounts, as a second point of contact, to help implement and launch Taboola content recommendations widget on their site, track post-launch performance, and provide strategic direction for new opportunities to grow revenue.
This is an entry level position with tons of exposure to the top clients in our book of business and learn the tools of the trade from the Client Partner you'll be working with.
Requirements:

  • 6-12 months previous internship/ work experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, monitoring and identification of trends in data and generation of actionable insight and reports for the client
  • Outstanding relationship building/ management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Strong phone and email etiquette
  • Fast learner eager to work in the quickly evolving field of online marketing
  • Affinity to technology and data
  • Highly motivated, proactive, dedicated and creative in order to pull all necessary resources for the client
  • Fluent in German and English

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated, relationship-driven Client Partner to strengthen our strategic client relationships, develop and grow our clients’ businesses and serve as a valuable resource and point of contact to provide an end-to-end service. DACH is a key market for us across the business and as such this new Client Partner role is geared towards experienced German speaking Account Managers.
We have opportunities in Berlin and London.
Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Book of Business Management - service clients in accordance to importance and potential within your portfolio, spotting abilities to scale, product rollout potential and further client needs
  • Account insights and strategy – analysing and creating custom reports and actionable insight for clients where necessary/ needed to support your arguments for account growth
  • Client education & proactive consultation – Ensuring that clients are following the best practices and maximising every opportunity to achieve account success on the platform. Working with clients to help them understand and optimise their campaigns, hit campaign goals and scale their account
  • Campaign management – handling of first level technical requests -  implementation of conversion tracking codes, targeting, spending caps, pacing, etc. - and escalation of second level technical requests to Ad Ops in order to launch a campaign successfully
  • Upsell and Cross-sell - Focus on rollout of new product features and and additional campaigns as well as international account expansion
  • Client meetings and QBRs - Conducting face to face quarterly business review meetings with key clients whereby participants can range from day to day contact to C-level within the client organisation
  • Office Hours - Work within the client's office for a set time of week/ month in case this might be needed to improve on performance and client insights

Requirements:

  • Experience in results-driven customer-facing role - specific examples will be expected
  • Knowledge of KPI based campaign/ client management and optimisation of campaigns towards hitting ROI target
  • Familiar with management of a portfolio of clients - prioritisation, and farming of portfolio growth according potential
  • Eager to understand and present the opportunities involved for clients looking for infinite scale
  • Strong analytical skills, monitoring and identification of trends in data and generation of actionable insight and reports for the client
  • Outstanding relationship management and customer-facing skills
  • Excellent technological skills or ability to quickly learn what is needed to support the campaigns successful implementation and optimisation from a technical point of view
  • A true passion for online content and in-depth knowledge of web marketing
  • Willing to travel for business
  • Fluent German is a must

About the role
Taboola is a market leader globally and with over 78% reach in Germany (source - IVW 2018), we need to maintain this strong market growth momentum and help drive an even greater awareness amongst the world’s biggest media agencies, brands & publishers.
In order to be successful, the Team Lead, Media Sales will need to ‘lead by example’ in a player/coach environment expected to identify, engage and cement large brand partnerships and work with major media agency networks.
Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, motivate and drive a sales team
  • Manage your own and team pipelines and forecasts for your business group
  • Develop and execute a customer-led strategy with top brands and media agencies and liaise with senior client personnel
  • Present and sell Taboola’s advertising products including video brand placements as well as sponsored content
  • Work closely with the Director Media Sales, DACH to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Interact with the account management team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign management

Requirements:

  • Senior-level experience in advertising sales positions focussed on brand marketers and knowledge of the media agency landscape is essential (min. 6 years)
  • Proven track record of delivering results as an individual sales contributor as well as managing a sales team
  • Have an excellent understanding of digital advertising, video and content marketing
  • Must be well connected within the digital ad market and display impeccable local market understanding
  • Experienced in independently building, pursuing and closing a large pipeline
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people management and leadership
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in German and English
