Taboola is looking for a commercial, tech savvy Publisher Account Manager to join our fast growing team in Beijing , to be focused on our China Publisher clients.  Taboola is one of the fastest growing global start-ups in digital media and the leader in content recommendation. Our account managers are recognized as the best in the industry and are essential to the ongoing growth of our business.
China is a large and crucial market for us as we grow and your clients would be among China leading publishers.  You would be responsible for the successful implementation and launch of the Taboola content discovery platform across China. You would be tracking performance and providing regular strategic direction for new opportunities to improve performance. The account management team is uniquely responsible for building and optimising existing relationships by identifying and presenting new initiatives to publishers to improve performance and revenues.
 
Responsibilities and skills:

  • Manage and grow relationships with premium publisher clients and strategic partners in China
  • Understand the organisation’s business needs and develop relationships at all levels
  • Monitor and analyse metrics and proactively take steps to improve results
  • Be an expert in Taboola’s platform and the benefits publishers gain by using it
  • Fully comprehend the technology, revenue ecosystem and client needs/requirements in order to intelligently identify new opportunities and upsell the platform
  • Work closely with the Publisher Sales teams as well as the remote R&D department in order to become a valuable resource and single point of contact to the client
  • Communicate business intelligence from clients to the product management team in regards to new product development features
  • Strategically support the Publisher Sales team in pre-sale proposal development

 Requirements:

  • Experience as an Account Manager working with Publishers in China 
  • Fluency in Mandarin and excellent communication in English 
  • Significant experience of using Excel to generate reports and manipulate data
  • Significant experience of creating presentation decks with PowerPoint
  • Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills
  • Patience and a structured approach to your work, appreciating that the sales cycle can take much longer in the Publisher space compared to others.
  • Very strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and in generated reports
  • Highly motivated, proactive, dedicated, resourceful and creative to ensure your clients receive world class service
  • High attention to detail, organized and with strong communication skills
  • Self-starter with the will and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment

  • Focusing on top-tier publishers, commanding a large pipeline of prospective business while simultaneously closing key partnerships and uncovering new business opportunities.
  • Sell multiple Taboola products to clients by finding the right stakeholders for each product, without digressing from a coherent product message and overall strategy.
  • Develop and expand existing customer relationships at multiple levels and across multiple functions within each organization.
  • Manage a sales process inclusive of presentations, relationship-building, detailed analysis, deal structure, negotiation and close.

 
Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of the China digital publishing landscape, an understanding of digital technology and revenue ecosystem
  • Native Mandarin speaker with experience structuring and negotiating deals with China digital publishers or media companies
  • Fluent in English
  • Proven communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Technology-savvy and able to learn quickly

Taboola, the world’s largest content recommendation platform, is hiring a Solution Manager to work with exciting, premium clients in digital media and create real impact in the way the discovery experience is perceived and implemented. As part of the Professional Services group, the Solutions Manager will work closely with Taboola’s top clients, assist the sales team in pre-sale/post-sales processes, and become a trusted source of technical understanding and know-how. The Solutions Manager will coordinate multiple projects with short, and sometimes competing, deadlines and an array of ever-changing details, and do it all with a great service attitude.
Responsibilities:

  • Advise enterprise clients in choosing and delivering a suitable solution for their needs
  • Internal and external education of Taboola’s products through articulate communication
  • Diligent trouble-shooting during implementation and integration, identifying and resolving issues whenever possible, and escalating issues via internal channels
  • Comprehension of data in order to identify optimization opportunities and abnormal trends
  • Define and implement new processes
  • Management of numerous assignments and resources in parallel, prioritizing customer requirements and managing across internal departments
  • Occasionally work unconventional hours with remote teams, clients,  located in different  time zones
  • Participate in customer meetings as needed

Requirements:

  • Native Mandarin language skills
  • Minimum 4+ years of total experience, at least 2 in a similar position of technical account management, solutions engineering, pre-sales or technical project management
  • Familiarity with front-end web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience in the media/internet/advertising technology industry– a significant advantage
  • Experience in managing integration projects including internal and external resources such as R&D and Product Management  
  • Proven and significant experience working with customers around the globe.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills including demonstrated experience communicating technical information
