Taboola is looking for an experienced, deal-oriented sales professional who can identify, source and structure partnerships independently. As Publisher Sales Manager, your role will be to secure new publishers for the Taboola network.

We help publishers monetize their content and drive higher engagement. We enable brands to surface their content to the right audience at-scale. And above all, we help people discover content they may like yet never knew existed.
Responsibilities:

  • Sell the Taboola platform to clients by interacting with the right stakeholders
  • Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked
  • Independently build a large pipeline of leads, pursue them and close deals
  • Manage presentations, build relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Interact with our project implementation team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful implementation of our widgets and technology
  • Work closely with the account management team to manage and develop long-term client relationships
  • Proactively seek market feedback on the Taboola platform and work with product team to help develop market-leading functionality

Requirements:
Demonstrate a deep knowledge of the China digital publishing landscape, an understanding of digital technology and revenue ecosystem
Native Mandarin speaker with experience structuring and negotiating deals with China digital publishers or media companies
Fluent in English
Proven communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Technology-savvy and able to learn quickly
The will and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment

Taboola's partners include a wide network of top tier publisher sites, including: MSN, NBC Universal, USA TODAY, Business Insider, Bloomberg and The Weather Channel.
The Account Director will be responsible directly  for managing a team of Account managers across several markets together with managing a book of business and identifying up-sell/optimization opportunities at scale. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, analytical and have outstanding relationship management skills.
Responsibilities and skills:

  • Manage and grow relationships with media clients and agencies through a high performing account management team.
  • Understand the organisation’s business needs and develop relationships at all levels – working closely with the Country Managers and Regional Heads.
  • Monitor and analyse metrics and proactively take steps to improve results across the region, through the wider account management team
  • Communicate regularly with AM groups across the global offices, staying up to date with best practices, adopting and adjusting them to the APAC market in collaboration with Regional Director
  • Oversee Campaign launches across the team
  • Campaign Management – Working with the AM team to help them hit their campaign goals, budgeting and scaling – mentoring and coaching them in order to help them grow their accounts and grow professionally
  • Proactive Consultation - ensuring that clients are following the best practices and maximizing every opportunity to achieve account success on the platform.
  • Mentor and lead a multi-lingual team across the region
  • Be an expert in all things Taboola, sharing your knowledge with the AM team to ensure continuous improvement and knowledge building.
  • Being a thought leader in all Digital Advertising topics
  • Working successfully with Agencies and Key Global brands to increase Taboola's awareness and European footprint

Requirements:

  • Prior Senior Account Management role in Adtech.
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and in generated reports
  • Experience managing performance/direct response campaigns
  • Significant experience of creating presentation decks with PowerPoint
  • Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills
  • Experience of managing accounts from more than one location – essential
  • Experience in optimising towards higher conversion rates, and lower CPA's
  • Understanding the importance of ROI for performance advertisers
  • Excellent technological skills and ability to quickly learn what is needed to support the campaigns successful implementation and optimisation
  • Outstanding relationship management and customer-facing skills

Media Account Manager - China market

Taboola is looking for a dedicated, Account Manager to develop and grow our clients’ businesses, strengthen client relationships and serve as a source of valuable insight to their clients. The China  market is a key market to secure Taboola's growth and hence of central focus to the business. As such this role is geared towards experienced Account Managers who have a passion for great client service.
Responsibilities and skills:

  • Campaign setup – handling of first level technical requests -  implementation of conversion tracking codes, targeting, spending caps, pacing, etc. - and escalation of second level technical requests to Ad Ops in order to launch a campaign successfully
  • building strategic partnerships with Taboola customers 
  • Campaign Management – Working with clients to help them hit their campaign goals, budgeting and scaling
  • Creative Management  –  getting the RSS feeds, tracking codes, images and headlines from the client and upselling to get more content and a/b testing
  • Proactive Consultation - ensuring that clients are following the best practices and maximizing every opportunity to achieve account success on the platform.
  • Reporting – analysing and creating custom reports for clients where necessary
  • Strategic Book of Business Management - service clients in accordance to importance and potential within their portfolio, spotting abilities to scale, product rollout potential and further client needs

Requirements:

  • Experience managing campaigns
  • Fluent Mandarin is a must
  • Hungry to upsell, and aware of the opportunities involved for clients looking for infinite scale
  • Experience in optimising campaigns towards higher conversion rates, and lower CPA's
  • Understanding the importance of ROI for performance advertisers
  • Proven results in a customer-facing role - specific examples will be expected
